I have been fortunate to be able to spend a good amount of time travelling in the summers with my husband. We have visited dozens of State and National parks. Seeing the wonderful diversity in nature throughout our great country is awe inspiring. I have accumulated lots of photos and art creations based upon our travels. Many of my social media connections have encouraged me to create a nature book of all of my photos. I have yet to fulfill that goal, but I do hope to someday have a solo gallery show of my work and put my photos into a collection somehow.

National Park Woodgrain Paintings
Each painting is created by examining the wood grain pattern found on the wood disk. I look for designs that form mental connections between the forms found in the wood with landscape details of the National Parks. I then choose a color palette that is indicative of the colors one sees when visiting the awe-inspiring landmarks. (Wood disks are from ethically sourced birch)
